File formats and delivery

How can I quickly upload and order dozens of photos in the same version, for example everything as 10x15 cm prints or 5 photos on canvas in the same size?

For example, if you want to order 30 photo prints 10x15 of 30 different photos, you can upload them at once via the product format page 10x15 of the photo prints . If you want to order 5 photos on canvas 40x60, you can do this at once from the product format page photo on canvas 40x60 . You can get to the product format pages via the price lists on the product pages: click on the desired format in the price list and start uploading all files.

Which file types (extensions) can I upload?

You can upload .jpg, .jpeg, .png . and .heic files. If your file has a different extension, please contact info@photogift.eu

I would like to order dozens of photo prints of different photos. Can I upload the files for this product at once?

Go to the product page of the photo prints, click on Upload and select the desired files. Or drag and drop the desired files to the relevant drag area on the product page. You will see how the files are loaded one by one. After this, you can easily adjust the photo print size, cropping, orientation and the matte or gloss finish per photo. This procedure applies to all photo products.

How do I know if my photo has enough pixels for my chosen product/format?

After you have selected your product and format, your file will be checked for pixels by our ordering system. If there are insufficient pixels, our system will give the warning 'poor' or 'moderate'. In that case, choose a smaller print size or use another file.

What is the maximum file size I can upload photos?

You can upload JPG, JPEG, PNG and HEIC files to us up to 100MB per file. For large files, uploading and processing your photo takes longer, sometimes a few minutes. Please wait until the thumbnail appears and then continue.

I want my photo completely on the print or I want only a part of my photo on the print. How do I determine which part will be ripped off?

When choosing the format after uploading, you can see exactly which part will be printed in our editor. By changing the format or using the zoom function, you determine the exact print area.

I want to print my photo square. Do I have to make the photo square myself before uploading?

This is not necessary. After uploading the photo, select the product and size. Then you can make the photo square in our handy editor. The same applies to portrait, landscape and panorama formats. You always determine the exact crop yourself. Of course, you can also simply upload square or panorama photos.

My image files do not have the extension jpg, png, jpeg or heic and/or are larger than 100MB. How do I deliver my files?

You can deliver your files by Transfernow to the attention of info@photogift.eu. Don't forget to send the desired product/format and address details + telephone number. We will enter the order for you, you will receive confirmation of your order plus a payment request by email.

I want to order my photo in panorama format. Do I have to resize the photo myself before uploading?

This is not necessary. After uploading the photo, select the product and the desired panorama format and then crop the photo to the desired size with our software. Then click on create preview. If you are satisfied with the photo editing, you can complete the order! Uploading a panorama photo is of course also possible.

I want to receive my photo print in black and white or sepia. Do I have to edit my photo myself before uploading?

No. After uploading, first select the product and format. Then you can edit the photo with our software black and white or sepia. Then click on make preview. If you are satisfied with the photo editing, you can complete the order.

Can I also supply my image files in CMYK?

We prefer to receive files for our digital printing in sRGB or RGB. You can also receive CYMK files. However, color variations may occur when converting to sRGB.

Delivery and delivery time

Where can I find an overview of all delivery times?

Photo gift photo products generally have a very fast turnaround time, with the exception of a few luxury photo products. View all Photo gift delivery times here.

My photo gift has been shipped but has not arrived, what should I do?

Follow the tracking of your order via the e-mail you received from us. If the delay lasts longer than a working day, please inform your nearest neighbours first if possible. If nothing has been delivered there either, please send an e-mail to info@phtotgift.eu, then our customer service will consult with the parcel service to see what the problem may be and we will keep you informed of the progress of your parcel. Always mention the order number of your order in the correspondence.

Can I get my order delivered faster?

Many products have a rush option. For this you must check the RUSH option when completing the order process. Ordered and paid before midnight = shipped the next business day. Photo prints and goto enlargements ordered and paid before 3 p.m. will be shipped the same business day! Do you also deliver on Saturdays?

Yes, all photo products smaller than 80x120cm are sent by parcel service and are also delivered on Saturdays.

How will my order be shipped?

On the afternoon your order is shipped, you will receive an automated email from us with your parcel number so that you can track the shipment at any time. You will also receive automatic updates by email. Everything larger than 80x120 centimeters within the Netherlands and Belgium will be delivered by appointment with our own driver.

You activate Fotoeschenk's action codes in the shopping cart, BEFORE you start uploading photos.

Can I get a discount for a larger order?

Yes, of course. If you want to order larger editions or quantities, our staff will be happy to make a custom quote. Mail your request to info@photogift.eu for a quick response!

I am a photographer and for my clients I regularly order canvas photos, plexiglass photos and aluminum photos. Can I come to you, can I get a discount and have it sent directly to my clients?

Product questions

What is the difference between photo prints and photo enlargements?

Photo gift photo prints go up to 20x30 centimeters and are cut by hand. The size may vary by a few millimeters. Photo enlargements go from very small to XXL prints and are machine cut to exact size, ideal if you want to frame the photos.

I want to print my photo square. Do I have to make the photo square myself before uploading?

You can easily glue photos on Forex, photos on aluminum and photos in Plexibond to a clean, dry surface. Also for decoration of wet areas such as a bathroom. Always use an acid-free sealant.

How do I quickly order dozens of photo prints in the same format?

Go to the product page, select the desired format in the price list and upload all photos. All photos are immediately in the desired format, you can now adjust the crop per photo by clicking on the photo and complete the order.

I want to frame my photo enlargement. How do I make sure the photo never bubbles or waves?

After uploading, choose the product photo prints - photo enlargement and then choose 'glue photo to PVC'. In the Photo Workshop, your photo will be glued to the thin PVC plate in no time, making it perfectly suitable for framing!

How is your photo wallpaper delivered?

Our unique Photo Gift photowallpaper is delivered after a few working days on a roll of 50 cm wide, including very clear instructions on how to divide the roll in order to apply the sheets perfectly to the wall.

What is the positioning of the rings on the garden posters?

The heart of the of our garden posters rings is 2.5cm from the edges and the diameter of the ring is 1.4cm. It is wise not to have an important image within 3cm from the edge otherwise the ring will be punched through it.

Which glue is suitable for your photo wallpaper?

You can easily and seamlessly apply the beautiful, non-tearable photo gift photo wallpaper by applying non-woven wallpaper paste from the hardware store to a clean, dry wall.

What is the positioning of the drill holes and spacers for photo panels on aluminum and plexiglass?

With the aluminum spacers the panel hangs approximately 1.5 cm from the wall. Center of drill hole is 1.5 centimeters from the corners, diameter drill hole 9mm. Advice: avoid relevant text or image information up to 2.5 cm from the corners!

Are the photo panels also suitable for outdoor use, for example in the garden or on the balcony?

Yes, our direct printing on aluminum, forex and plexiglass is excellent for indoor and outdoor use. The prints are sunlight-resistant and waterproof and will last for years!

Can I also glue my aluminium photo panel to a wall?

Yes, that is possible with an an acid free mounting kit with filling capacity (brand Unicum or Plymax). Wall must be flat and clean.

Can I clean a photo printed on aluminum, forex or plexiglass?

Yes, this can be done with a slightly damp cloth. You will also get the fingerprints off. The plexiglass prints are waterproof and suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

I want the sides of the canvas photo to be white or in a certain color. How do I do that?

When you click "Photo entirely on the front" after uploading your photo foto our photogift product canvas photo, you will get a box with FFFFFF. This is white. You can choose any other desired color for the side by sliding.

I have received multiple gift cards. Can I use them for 1 larger order?

No, you have the option to enter 1 voucher code per order.

I am looking for a suitable photo for our photo wallpaper or for one of your other photo products! Where can I find a nice photo?

Go to the Image Bank button at the top right of the menu. Here you can search the millions of high-resolution images from Adobe Stock by keyword and order them directly from us at no extra cost on any desired photo product and format!

Are there also pre-selected Photo Gift photo collections on your website from which I can choose images for you to print?

Yes, absolutely. When you go to our image bank , you can see the Photo Gift collections on the right side of the page on desktop and on mobile under the first selection of images. For example, click on Flowers for our collection of flower photos or on Animals for our collection of wildlife photos . For example, we also have a collection of world maps and tropical beaches.

Can I have a photo collage made at Photogift?

Yes, definitely. Go to collagemaker and choose a template, upload photos, finish the photocollage and load it into our ordering system. Now select the desired product and format and complete the collage order.

Can I upload my own photos and order images from your image bank in one order?

Yes, certainly. Once you have completed the cropping of your first own photo, you will be taken to the order overview. From here you can upload additional photos or select an image from the integrated Adobe Image Bank . This image will automatically be added to the order overview after loading it into the ordering system and making the crop. Conversely, you can also first select an image from the Image Bank and then add your own photos to the order.

How does the Webshop Giftcard work?

We accept the Webshop Giftcard. You can pay with the Webshop Giftcard as follows: When you are going to pay, choose the payment method 'Webshop Giftcard' on the page with payment methods (such as iDEAL or credit card). You then fill in the 19-digit card number that is on the back of the Giftcard and that is under the scratch layer, after which the payment is completed. The amount is automatically debited from the Webshop Giftcard. Please note: do not enter the card number of the Webshop Giftcard in the discount code field, because this does not work! Do you want to buy something with a higher value than the credit on your Webshop Giftcard? No problem! You choose the Webshop Giftcard as the first payment method and pay the remaining amount via iDeal. If the value of your purchase is lower than the credit on your Webshop Giftcard, the remaining credit will simply remain on your Webshop Giftcard. You can spend this later at a webshop of your choice.

Is it possible to print 1 photo divided over 3 panels, so that a triptych of 1 photo is created?

Yes. Upload the same photo 3 times and then make a consecutive crop per photo to the desired size.

Does Photogift.eu also make photo books?

Yes, Photogift.eu has been supplying beautiful photo books for the Euopean market for many years now. Choose from hardcover and softcover portrait and square photo books up to a maximum of 200 pages, our landscape photo books even go up to a maximum of 400 pages! Can I create my Photo Gift photo book hardcover quickly and effectively online?

Yes, go to this overview page and choose the desired photo book format. You can get started online right away. You can create an account, but you can also compose and order the photo book completely online as a guest user.

What is the delivery time of the Photo Gift photo books?

Our Photogift Photo Books are compiled and delivered very carefully. You will receive a track & trace on the day of shipment. The delivery time of the photo books is 4-5 working days.

I would like to make several photo books and order them in 1 x with 1 x shipping costs, is that possible?

Yes, this is possible with our offline software. You first install this on your laptop or PC, then create the various photo book projects and order them in one go from your shopping cart. With the online photo book editor you can order a maximum of 1 project at a time.

I have a question, comment or complaint about my photo gift delivered. What is the fastest way to receive a substantive response?

Email your question or comment to info@photogift.eu , including the order number and, if applicable, some photos that clarify your question, comment or complaint for us. We will then get back to you within a maximum of two working days.

I ordered with the speedproduction option, however, the order was only delivered after two workdays or more. What now?

Our Photo Gift urgent photo service means that your photo gift is produced and offered to the parcel service with priority, in accordance with the speeds that we communicate on the site and in the order editor. Normally this is the next working day. Occasionally, the delivery by the parcel service takes more than a day. In these cases, you request the urgent costs by email, then these will be refunded.

Why doesn't Fotogeschenk offer Next Business Day Guaranteed Delivery for its rush productions?

The cost of guaranteed express shipments with next business day delivery has increased enormously in recent years. Fotogeschenk has decided in 2024 to no longer offer this additional service because the costs that the parcel service charges for this are no longer in proportion to the average order value of our orders.

My photo gift was delivered to me with product damage, what now?

Mail your findings to info@photogift.eu including the order number and a few photos of the packaging and a few photos of the damage to the delivered product. Product damage and/or imperfections to a delivered product are always resolved in consultation.
